A WORLD THAT MOVES
September 18_21 _ 2025
A feast of kilometres, a kaleidoscope of landscapes, faces, voices and visions: September is once again the time for movement, encounters, presence. Efesto Foundation’s spark “AGILE TOURISM” is back and, bringing with it the second edition, a project that has already left strong marks and deep roots with the successful first edition in 2024.
The core remains the same: mapping the territory for a truly accessible tourism, testing routes, testing the hospitality, listening to the communities and observing with new eyes the barriers – physical and invisible – that still exist.
In 2025, “A world that moves: in the Dolomites, among the Dolomites”, the project gets broader, richer, more nuanced.
Valleys, the Dolomites, lakes, architecture, folklore, history, art, music, people, open air activities, Paralympic sport: these are the keywords guiding us in every step, every stop, every shared experience. A world of colours, opportunities and skills meeting and mixing together. A choral participation, of people with and without disabilities, united by a single desire: to experience the territory, to feel part of it, to contribute to change.
Once again, it will be a gamble with the weather, fatigue, the unexpected and imperfection, but a journey that will also test us in the most authentic way possible too: by walking together. From theory to reality, from maps to roads: accessible tourism becomes direct experience, a dialogue with institutions, an invitation to rethink places now closed for too many.
We will set out from Belluno, the capital of the Dolomites, and then travel through symbolic places full of memory and beauty:
Finally, San Vito di Cadore will welcome us with the traditions of the ethnographic museum and an accessible walk around Lake Mosigo, between water and breath.
“A world that moves” is not just a path, but a vision as well; a way of interpreting reality where fragility is shared and people with disabilities are with ALL of us, among us and are US. Being ambassadors of accessibility means first of all getting involved: not to ‘help’ but to walk alongside, by living, sharing, and building together.
Fondazione Efesto wouid like to act as an effective stimulus for the territory and the institutions, promoting joint projects and concrete studies to make accessible, places that until now were not . An analytical, precise, forward-looking work: because every accessibility is not just an achievement, but also a collective duty. Artists, outstanding testimonials , students, associations, sportsmen, families will be involved. A diverse group of participants, each bringing unique experience, prove that diversity is not just a slogan, it is a creative and human catalyst.
