The spark ‘FIL ROUGE: THE MOSAIC THAT UNISTS’ with the artistic mosaic workshop, gives value to the fragile person in all his or her wholeness and globality.
Creative-manual collaboration between individuals is the cornerstone of our inclusive paths, creating fruitful relationships between various people. Mosaic artists meet, listen to each other, respect each other, and help each other by creating a ‘work of art’ inspired by the vault of the Galla Placidia Mausoleum in Ravenna with the use of Orsoni Venezia tesserae combined with a large support panel with a frame made of re-used fir wood, created with Pieces of Venice’s care for sustainability and design.
The project is being undertaken at the classes of the Istituto Comprensivo Conegliano 2 ‘G.B.Cima’ pioneer in school inclusion in close synergy with the Ass. La Nostra Famiglia of Conegliano.
At the end of the artistic pathway, the pupils involved in the inclusive project will be able to enjoy the cultural experience with a trip to Ravenna to the symbolic places of mosaic art, being able to admire live the details that inspired their work.
